Loomis   a Special Friend

While in his 20’s Loomis Wine cellar founder Dan Lawrence left a VP position in banking to pursue his dream of owning a business and locating it on St. Armands Circle where he grew up. While the new office was under construction Dan rescued a Jack Russell terrier that he named Loomis. Loomis went to the office each day and greeted customers. Very quickly Dan’s company focused on high net worth clients and soon became one of the top Jumbo lenders in South East America. Dan’s passion for extraordinary customer service propelled his business and also rewarded him with financial success all accomplished by word of mouth and no advertising. Dan lost Loomis to cancer after 12 yrs of “boardroom service”. Loomis founder Dan Lawrence then turned his passion to boat racing where he accomplished 4 US national championships, a bronze medal for US in 2008 and most recently, a Silver for US in the 2015 Qatar cup.

After enjoying a four year early retirement, Dan decided to turn his efforts towards a entrepreneurial pursuit. In early 2017 Loomis Wine Cellars was created inspired by the concept of privacy and extraordinary service.
